I am Jason Carter.  Not the actor, not the musician, not the Canadian with his PhD.  Jason the story teller, the talker, and ultimately the programmer.  Born and raised in Opp, Alabama.  I recieved my first computer at 14ish.  An old unnamed 8086.  Since it only had DOS 6.22 I had to make due with what I had.  I’ve now progressed into a slightly more powerful machine and programming language.   I have been programming one language or another for almost 15 years now.  Starting with QBasic in the early days, I have generally stuck to my roots in the basic family of languages.  Currently I am writting web applications using VB.NET in all its glory.

Over my time I have become familiar with many languages including PHP, Perl, Python, C#, Java and whatever else has been thrown at me.  By no means am I an expert in any of these, but I can make things happen.
